About our school

We are a four form entry school meaning we usually have 12 classes split over 3 year groups ranging from Reception to Year 2.   We have been at the heart of the Ise Lodge community for over 40 years and hope to be here for many years to come. During that time, the school has experienced lots of changes and notable successes not least of which, is 3 back to back outstanding Ofsted judgements.

We share the campus with Millbrook Junior School and Kingsley Special Academy and work with our colleagues in both settings.  We are an inclusive school where all children, parents and staff work together to meet our vision - "all can achieve".

The school has twelve well resourced classrooms.  We use our large hall for assemblies, indoor PE and gym. We also have a computer suite and library as well as an outdoor classroom and access to a grassed area.  As well as their classrooms, the children in Reception use the Rainbow room (a shared creative learning space), covered outdoor areas and the playground for teaching, learning and play.

The staff and governors are committed to achieving the highest possible standards of social, academic and moral education for all our pupils. If you would like to find out more about the Governing Body and the work they do, please visit the Governors' page.

Millbrook Infant School wants every child to enjoy their time at school and do their best. These are the aims we share with our children:-

  • We will achieve a happy, safe environment where all feel valued.
  • We will make teaching and learning fun and exciting for all.
  • We will always try to do our best.
  • We will develop strong partnerships with parents, carers and the community.
  • We will encourage independence so that we all contribute to the world we live in.
  • We will ensure all have a voice that is heard.
